“We wanted to say a giant thank you to Alive. I was wary of booking a band based only on a video but they were even better live. Seems like wedding bands have changed - these lads were so cool our guests thought we'd hired them on some kind of exclusive deal. Their sound and energy made the atmosphere electric and everyone was dancing all night! They were stuck in traffic for hours but were in a good mood all night and they learnt our (little known) first dance tune , including audience participation, based on a you tube video. Seemed like a big ask, but they did it anyway and it sounded great. For anyone looking I would say whatever your budget, the music is make or break so scrimp on the shoes, ditch the favours, do DIY everything, whatever it takes...but book the band! Hand on heart our wedding would not have been the same without them. Please pass on our feedback and sincere thanks for their trek down to Devon and making our night.”
